He is no stranger to the construction field, as he took a pause from IT mid-career to own and operate his own construction company, eventually returning to IT work in 2008. In school, he studied both Computer Information Systems and Criminal Justice before joining the US Army. His initial roles within the IT world in the Washington, DC area utilized this specialized knowledge, eventually leading him to run IT operations for SRA International before joining HITT. Today, Cory enjoys working with HITT as it melds his two passions of information technology and construction. He brings a vast knowledge of several IT disciplines as well as expertise in efficiently and directly managing a team of highly customer-service oriented IT professionals that support the business’ day-to-day operations.
